Political Leaders on the COVID-19 Pandemic: Analysis of the Sejm Discourse

Utterances of political leaders participating in a parliamentary debate, especially crisis situations, are exceptional significance. The aim the study is to analyse positions and declarations towards COVID-19 pandemic Poland as regards politicians’ speeches made Sejm. Quantitative qualitative analyses were performed on 504 by chairpersons parties clubs circles. analysis showed that issue COVID-19, although it was most important problem for Poles many months, did not receive much attention from opposition groups criticised government called action. In contrast, ruling parties’ coalition actively participate Sejm discourse.
